Dentophobia, or fear of the dentist, isn’t as uncommon as most people might think. One bad experience can create a horrific fantasy in the mind of a person who is scheduled, or should be scheduled, to see go to a dental clinic. Gingivitis simply refers to the inflammation of the gum tissue surrounding the teeth. This ailment affects a large number of the population, and it is the most common form of periodontal disease that afflicts the oral tissues within the oral cavity.
